Common Snapping Turtle

As I was walking through Park Cemetery -- after leaving the Fit Strip -- I passed by one of the ponds. I was just thinking to myself, "Hmmm. I wonder where all of the painted turtles went." Then I came across this old fella. He wasn't the largest snapping turtle, but was the largest I've ever seen -- the shell being wider than two of my hand widths. He was also quite cooperative, and allowed me to take several photos of him before he decided enough was enough.
