April Fool's Joke on Nature

Within the last few days, our lilac bush seems to have developed leaf buds. But Spring activities have been suspended due to a blizzard which started yesterday afternoon. We were dumped on by the white stuff, but not anything like the 2 feet of snow my friend got at her place just west of Marquette.
