Night Bandit

Not a great shot, but I was too rattled to play around with my camera's settings. Yes, I'm terrified of raccoons. In fact, I'd rather run into a black bear in the dark than a raccoon. My experience has been that bears will run if at all possible. Raccoons will stand their ground more often than not, and making threats rivaling a rabid dog. I don't even like encountering them in daylight.
Yes, they're cute. And can quite often be tame. But they terrify me nonetheless. Believe me, it took a lot for me to stick around long enough to take a few (very quick) shots. This was the best I managed. By the time I walked away, my adrenaline was pumping so much that I felt sick to my stomach.
(Okay. I'm done confessing. heh heh)
