A Real Pain in the Ass

@gene: I agree, gene. If you have to shoot any animal -- be it with arrows, guns or whatever, and hopefully for food -- you should make damn sure you're killing it and not just wounding it. But the goose definitely didn't seem to be bothered by the arrow all that much. I tried getting close to it, but the darn thing moved too fast even in that condition. The only thing I noticed was that its walk was a little different than that of the other geese around it. But it was actually faster than the others. For good reason too.

@Mindy: Or make them try to capture the goose and pay to have the arrow removed.
