Ready to Sing Her Heart Out

Hayley's all dressed up for her choral concert, which was supposed to be held before the Christmas break. But schools were closed for two days - including the original date for their holiday concert - because of the weather. We had had unseasonably warm weather over the weekend before the concert. Then temperatures immediately dropped below zero, freezing absolutely everything. It definitely wasn't safe to drive a schoolbus full of kids around.
So it was rescheduled for tonight (actually, Tuesday night). And, apparently, a good time was had by all.

This dress was actually something Hayley bought herself (actually, I had to order it for her and pay for shipping) with a gift card from my dad and stepmom. I was surprised when she picked out a blue dress, instead of her usual red and/or black!
