Found growing on a large rock along the lakeshore - with its tiny roots buried firmly in a crevice.

@jane: Thanks, Jane. I thought of you both when I took the shot and when I posted it. If I hadn't been so lazy, I would've searched the 'net to find out what sort of plant it was. It's a lot easier to just wait and see what it turns into. ;^)

By the way, it's good to see you're back in the States again. heh heh
