Always Remember Your Designated Driver

Playing with my camera's Night Scene mode. Not impressed with it at all, especially since it ate up two sets of batteries in maybe about 10 shots. And, as you can see, even using the tripod didn't minimize camera shake.
So far, every Scene Mode I've tried has done the same things. I'm thinking I might as well count that feature out from now on.

Good advice. I like the red glow to this. As to using the camera's automatic scene modes...it's really best to learn how to shoot with manual settings. By underexposing (closing the aperture or quickening the shutter speed from what the auto scene mode did) you'd have gotten more clarity/detail and a moodier shot.

@Mindy: Thanks for the advice, Mindy. I've only owned a camera for a little over a year, but my current camera I've only had since February (my old one really had no settings at all). So I'm still learning how to use the various manual settings. I'm doing fairly well learning the manual settings for macros (usually in aperture priority mode), but don't quite have a hang of manual settings otherwise.
