@Sarala: Or, as jkirlin would say, EVAR.
Thanks, yet again, S.
@Mindy: Thanks, Mindy.
You know, the funny thing is that, today -- for the first time "EVAR" -- I actually bought a couple of photography magazines. One, of course, was Nature Photographer. And, wouldn't you know, there's an entire article (article & photography by Robert E. Gantner) about (basically) photographing a milkweed seedpod. The article features 5 photos -- three of seedpods and/or seeds, two also with bugs. I actually kind of like mine just as much, if not better. And I took this shot a few days ago, prior to even seeing the magazine.
(I know that probably sounds a bit pompous. But it was more of a "Wow. Maybe my stuff ISN'T so bad after all." moment. You know? I don't have those moments often.)
@Kathryn: Thank you, Kathryn.
@Charles: Thanks, Charles.
@Sarala: Thanks, S. :^)
@jane | wildgulch.com: Thanks, Jane. This was one of my favorites from when I first got my camera and the Sigma zoom lens. It's hard to get used to taking macros and not being up close and personal with the subject! As with most of my photos, though, the more I look at it, the more I don't like it.
@Maru: Thank you, Maru. Your photos are wonderful. :^)
