NOT a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

Posted by
Kathe (Marquette, Michigan, United States) on 18 February 2009 in Cityscape & Urban.

We are currently under a winter storm warning - expecting from about 2 to 6 additional inches of lake effect snow, and wind gusts up to 35 to 45 mph. We even lost power for about an hour (around dinnertime no less). I was in the process of trying to figure out how to keep the tadpoles' habitat warm when...thankfully...the power was restored.

This photo was taken during the power outage - sometime around 5:30pm. Now, at about 9:00pm, we can barely see across the street from our dining room window.
