The Pretender

As I was passing through Park Cemetery this morning (after PT and a doc app't), I found this fake cardinal near the "big pond". Not sure how it got there - or even why it's there.

The good news is that the doctor doesn't think I'll need a referral to an orthopedic surgeon. So we'll stick with physical therapy for now, and we'll see how I'm doing in about three weeks. I hope she doesn't change her mind - 'cause we have plans this summer, and surgery just isn't an option until at least August!

I had to look twice, and love the title. How fun that it is there.

@B. Thomas: Heh heh. I had to look twice too when I first saw it! Especially since I've never seen a cardinal in this area.

Great capture. I like the title.

Thanks, Kathe. Now I can't get that Jackson Browne melody out of my mind.

@Nabeel Tahir: Too bad it's not real, eh? ;^)

Truth is, I've never seen a real cardinal in our area.
