@Lee: Looks can be deceiving. ;^)

It was a little windy that day, but this area didn't have much wave action because of the breakwall. On the other side of the breakwall - shown here in the distance - the water was, indeed, a bit choppy.

@jane: Actually, the very top of this rock (bluff of sorts) is one of my favorite places in town to just sit. This shot was taken from just above the water a short way. Sometimes Hayley and I like to sit at the top - on the side that faces the bike path along Founders Landing - and take pictures of people going by below. She and I are both armed with cameras, and we sometimes try to see who can "shoot" them first - cyclists, joggers, others just out for a stroll or walking their dogs, etc.
Yeah, my daughter and I are strange. But we're okay with that. ;^)
