@Lee: Thanks, Lee. Do you happen to know the name of this sandpiper? There were about three of them together. When I tried searching through my online sources, I found some that were similar but not quite the same (shorter bills, black legs instead of yellow, more brown on the chest, etc).

@roentarre: It's true - of the three birds in the little group, this one was definitely more curious...always staying closer to us than the other two.
