Great image Kathe.. although there's something in it that I can't put my finger on..... I wish I could see your camera settings...
I think a polarizing filter would greatly enhance this photo taking the glare off the leaves, giving them a deep and rich green luster...

@Roman: I think it should have been cropped maybe. Perhaps a panorama-like cropping would have helped. I'm currently out of town, so I don't have my originals available to me. I posted several photos prior to leaving home, but will try to take another look at them after I return next week.

Agree with above about interesting textures. The dense population here of flora I associate with China makes me think of Hong Kong. ;)

I love this shot. The textures, the angle, the very different type of vegetation. It does look like China, but we have the same pond flora here as evidenced by this shot.
