With These Rings, They Did Wed

Well, we're back from Maryland, and my photoblog is now off of autopilot for a little while. My friends, Henk and Tanya, were married this past weekend, and asked me to be their photographer. Needless to say, I was nervous since I'm not comfortable photographing people and events. Also needless to say, I'm not happy with ANY of the 500+ photos I took during the entire trip (not just the wedding pics).

I wish I could say I'll be returning to my usual (or unusual) photos of familiar sights, but it's not likely. Since my sister is coming up on Friday, we may try to fit in a quick trip to the Eastern Upper Peninsula before my surgery next week. If that happens, I MIGHT actually have a few more photos to post. (I'm really hoping to catch some shots of the sandhill cranes in the bog near where my mother is buried in that part of the state.)

Very creative. Love the metaphor you've created to express their love.

@Marcie: Thanks, Marcie.

This shot sure works. I'm sure you got more great ones than you think.
