Candy-Making Teens

Posted by
Kathe (Marquette, Michigan, United States) on 11 December 2009 in Food & Cuisine.

Yesterday, my daughter and five of her friends (total of 2 gals, and 4 guys) gathered in our little apartment to make candy. I melted a chunk of chocolate bark and some chips of various colors (white, cherry and peanutbutter, I think). They then used spoons, paintbrushes and even a turkey baster (which didn't work very well) to put the melted chocolate and chips into my and my mom's old candy molds.

Who knew teens would enjoy such an activity?! They had so much fun, in fact, that we're planning on having her friends over again to make cookies. Now I'm SURE I've completely lost my mind. ;^)

@Marcie: Do you think so, Marcie? How about if I send them all over to YOUR place to do cookies? ;^)
